Important Note for Free Trial Users:
Prior to connecting your Ultratax instance to Juno you'll need to complete your free trial period. Once your trial ends, a member of our team will:
Share the integration app download link with you
Guide you step-by-step through connecting your tax software live during your onboarding call (we highly recommend downloading the app in advance, but waiting for your onboarding call to set up the integration)
Ensure you’re fully set up and ready to start using Juno

Important Note If You Host Ultratax Using a Remote Desktop
If your Ultratax instance is hosted via a remote desktop (ie Rightworks) you will need to contact the Rightworks team and ask them to install the Juno Integration App in your hosted desktop before you proceed with the following steps. Please let us know via [email protected] so we can provide you extra time on your trial period.

Open the Juno Desktop App and Sign In
After your download is complete open the Juno app and begin installation. Installing the app does take a few minutes to complete. We recommend dragging this to your desktop for easy access.
After opening the app you’ll be prompted to sign in using the same credentials you use for your Juno account.
Select Ultratax from the list of Tax Softwares
To connect your Ultratax instance to Juno select the tax software from the list of options.
Then click "Sync Clients"
Now open Ultratax, select "Utilities" from the top left, and then "Client Listing Reports" as shown below:
Next, you'll want to ensure your screen looks like below by selecting "Client Contact" and checking the box that says "Include all contact phone numbers (export only). Then you can hit "Continue"
Now you can click "Select All" and once all the clients are moved to the right side of the screen you can click "Export." Depending on how many clients you have generating the Export may take a few minutes.
Once the export is ready save the file on your computer and open the Juno Desktop app. Select "Choose File" and select the CSV of your clients. Once the CSV is added you can click "Import."
During the integration, your client base will be populated within Juno Preparer making it easy for you to instantly start tax prep.
Once your integration is complete your desktop app screen will look like this:
You can now return to your browser to start a tax preparation.
Start a Tax Preparation
Now that Juno and your Ultratax instance are integrated the Preparer screen will update to look like this:
Click “Start Tax Preparation” and select a client to begin your first preparation.
